Social Enterprise Just Transition Fund: Customer Stories - 20 July

Social Investment Scotland (SIS) is running a number of sessions for charities and Social Enterprises based in or delivering impact in the North East of Scotland - Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray to explore what a Just Transition for Scotland means for organisations and the people and communities they support.

These sessions will explore the main themes of a Just Transition, which promote the Scottish Government's vision of a fairer, greener Scotland.

SIS, in partnership with the Scottish Government, is managing the Social Enterprise Just Transition Fund (part loan, part grant) for social enterprises or charities based in / or delivering impact in these specific three areas in the North East of Scotland.

• As part of this session there will be a chance to hear about organisations who are already on this journey - what was the ambition?
• What was the process and how did they approach it?
• How has the fund helped them achieve their organisation's future sustainability whilst benefiting their community and beyond?

Projects such as supporting employability, those suffering from cost of living crisis, financial inclusion, as well as taking steps towards carbon reduction and efficiencies.
